School of Design and Art

The major of Law is one of the oldest and most distinguished programs at Wenzhou University of Technology, consistently achieving the highest average admission scores among all programs in Zhejiang Province. The program currently has 844 full-time undergraduate students, including 721 undergraduate students and 123 students in the “2+2” program. The college boasts a highly skilled faculty team, including 24 full-time law professors and a complement of part-time instructors drawn from extensive collaborations with government agencies, legal organizations, and private enterprises. The program features specialized experimental classes in bankruptcy and criminal defense.

The employment rate for graduates from the Law program has consistently been near 100%, with a recent bar exam pass rate of nearly 45% for new graduates and an increasing quality of graduate school admissions. The college provides students with a variety of jointly established practice bases, traditional independent practice projects such as the Mobile Legal Supermarket, Law Fun Squad, and Yiqibo Legal Aid for Agriculture, which have won numerous national and provincial awards.

Graduates of the Law program enjoy broad career prospects in the job market. They can find suitable positions in judicial bodies, government agencies, enterprises, law firms, notary offices, and other institutions.
