Expert Group for Evaluation of Safe Campus in Zhejiang Visits Our School to Conduct Evaluation Work

The expert group for the evaluation of the construction of safe campuses in Zhejiang visited our school to conduct the evaluation work on November 27. The expert group conducted a comprehensive inspection of our school's safe campus construction through various forms such as listening to reports, on-site inspections, questionnaire surveys, and ledger checks. Qian Qiang, the Secretary of the Party Secretary of our school, and Zhou Wenlong, the President, accompanied the inspection. 

During the evaluation work report meeting, Qian Qiang introduced the basic situation of our school and reported the specific measures and achievements made in promoting the construction of a safe campus since its establishment. He emphasized that the school will take this evaluation as an opportunity to promote improvement, construction, management, and development based on the evaluation, and to solidly carry out various safety and stability work, strengthen the campus security line, and not disappoint the high expectations of the provincial and municipal leaders and the expert group. Wang Dingfu, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the school, reported on the overall situation of the construction of a safe campus. 

During the evaluation process, the expert group visited laboratories, libraries, gymnasiums, student activity centers, theaters, and other large public areas to inspect the implementation of safety management measures in key areas and key links such as monitoring rooms, mini fire stations, student dormitories, and cafeterias, and listened to relevant introductions.

At the feedback meeting of the evaluation work, Jin Xiaoming, the leader of the expert group for the evaluation of the construction of safe campuses, a member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Zhejiang University of Technology, fully affirmed the achievements of our school in the construction of a safe campus. He stated that Wenzhou University of Technology has a high position in the construction of a safe campus, a comprehensive system, and the school's Party Committee attaches great importance to it, has a sound and perfect safety work system, implements new mechanisms for the new school, and has planned and deployed many new methods and new concepts, which are worth learning from. The school's safety measures are rich, and various measures have been taken to implement and refine safety work, achieving significant results, ensuring the smooth and orderly progress of key tasks such as the transformation of independent colleges and the construction of new campuses, and the safety work has shown remarkable highlights. At the same time, Jin Xiaoming also pointed out the problems currently existing in the school and put forward valuable opinions for the school's continuous deepening of the construction of a safe campus in the future. Zhou Wenlong made a statement. On behalf of Wenzhou University of Technology, he expressed sincere thanks and high respect to the expert group for their "accurate diagnosis." He stated that the school will implement the guidance of the expert group, further strengthen the construction of a safe campus: first, raise political positions and consolidate construction results; second, adhere to problem orientation and comprehensively rectify; third, establish a long-term mechanism and consolidate the results of rectification. The school will take this evaluation as a new opportunity, use the rectification opinions of the expert group as a starting point, anchor the goal of building a distinctive high-level applied university with great characteristics, and strive forward with greater pressure.
