The Third Reading Union of Our School Went to Wenzhou Kean University to Conduct Visit and Research Activities

According to the arrangement and deployment of the theme education work of the school, on the afternoon of November 30th, Qian Qiang, the party secretary of our school, led the members of the Third Reading Class of our school to visit Wenzhou Kean University to conduct the visit and research activity of "Tracing the Source and Seeking Thought through Practice". Wang Beizhuo, the party secretary and chairman of Wenzhou Kean University, An Kairui, the executive vice president, Zheng Xiaodong, the deputy party secretary and vice president warmly received our group of visitors. 

The members of the reading class visited the Learning and Activity Center, Ronglou Dormitory, School of Business, Ge Huaikai Building and Campus Comprehensive Exhibition Hall of Wenzhou Kean University in turn. In the Campus Comprehensive Exhibition Hall, they watched the precious video of General Secretary Xi Jinping attending the signing ceremony of the cooperative establishment of Wenzhou Kean University in the United States. They witnessed the historical origins between Wenzhou Kean University and General Secretary Xi Jinping, and deeply felt the efforts made by the General Secretary to actively build platforms for cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries and boost such cooperation in our province.

After the visit, the two sides held an exchange meeting. An Kairui first introduced the training of talents and other achievements of Wenzhou Kean University comprehensively, especially the educational characteristics of Sino-US integration and talent cultivation model with life as the core. Then the two sides had in-depth exchanges on international specialized construction, Sino-foreign joint running of schools, campus culture construction and other work. 

Wang Beizhuo pointed out that the two schools are of the same origin and lineage. In different fields, they can continue to deepen exchanges and get closer and closer. Wenzhou Kean University practices Sino-US integration in education and there is still much room for improvement. In the future, Wenzhou University of Science and Technology will play an increasingly important role in the development of Wenzhou's local economy and society. The two sides can deepen exchanges in scientific research, party building, student activities and other areas, and implement specific projects based on this visit.

Qian Qiang said that in the key stage of theme education, we came to Wenzhou Kean University with questions and a learning attitude, and gained a lot. In the future, we must deeply study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, adhere to the direction of running schools with socialist characteristics, deepen educational reform, and strive to do a good job of serving the development of Wenzhou's economy and society.
