Vice President Zheng and His Delegation Visited Jiaxing for Cooperation

On March 21st, Zheng Hua, a member of the Party Committee and vice president of Wenzhou University of Technology（Hereinafter WZUT）, along with department and college heads, conducted an on-site inspection in Jiaxing. They visited Chint New Energy Technology Co.,Ltd, the Yangtze River Delta Research Institute of Tsinghua University, and Jiaxing Nanhu University, engaging in detailed discussions on international talent cultivation, technology transfer, industry-education integration, and local service.

     During their visit to Chint New Energy Technology Co., Ltd, Zheng Hua and his delegation explored the group exhibition hall, gaining insights into the company's history, ESG philosophy, and technological innovation achievements. At the symposium, Chint New Energy's executive vice president Huang Haiyan and human resources leaders Li Yan and Gao Xinliang warmly welcomed the delegation. Huang Haiyan emphasized the global expansion of Chinese enterprises as a future trend, inviting the university to align with this direction. Chint New Energy expressed interest in collaborating on international talent cultivation, joint research projects, and integrating WZUT's doctoral faculty into Chint New Energy's post-doctoral program.

    Zheng Hua said WZUT seeks to establish an international education model tailored to corporate needs, fostering collaboration between university faculty and corporate mentors in developing training programs. The curriculum is redesigned, and a joint training model is implemented, allowing international students to intern at companies. This aims to deepen the integration of industry, education, and research, creating a new international ecosystem for industry-education integration, and supporting companies' global expansion.

     At the Yangt River Delta Research Institute of Tsinghua University in Jiaxing, Wang Genliang, a member of the Party Committee and vice president, and Ju Quan, the deputy director of the Shenggen Plan (Regional Cooperation Office), received the delegation warmly. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on issues such as the cooperation model between the research institute, universities, and local areas, hydrogen - energy cooperation, and custom - made solutions for the real needs of enterprises, and put forward several ideas for future cooperation areas.

   Vice President Zhao Yuan and department heads from Jiaxing Nanhu University met with Vice President Zheng Hua and his team, discussing the development of applied undergraduate education, school management challenges, and departmental concerns. Both parties found the exchange beneficial and agreed to continue strengthening ties, aiming to support local economic growth through their universities' contributions in education, research, and talent development.
